CASHet mobile app facelift
As a contract product designer in 2020 (later hired as a full time designer), I was tasked with revitalizing a mobile app that lacked a professional design and had confusing user interfaces. Over two months, from November to December 2020, I led a complete overhaul of the app’s visuals and user experience.

Project goal
Improve the visual most importantly to present the brand image better. Enhance the existing UI/UX and add new features so more users will be engaged.

Target users
CASHet card holders who use the mobile app: Persona name "John"

Stakeholders
CASHet Pcard Digital Approval team and head of customer support - approximately 8-10 people. Entire design process was shared with stakeholders through 6 Zoom meetings, numerous Slack messages & emails.

User's goal
Maximize mobile app usage with greater clarity and minimal confusion.

Conclusion/Retrospective
As a contract designer, I faced clear limitations in influencing decision-making and staying fully informed about team and company developments. Proactive communication on my part was key to ensuring the project's success.

Proposed user flow/scenario
I started with interviewing the stakeholders to define the user flow.

Brainstorming & wireframing
Throughout the project, I maintained open communication with stakeholders, meeting weekly to discuss design updates and gather valuable feedback.
