Design system creation

About the project

This is the design system I created for CASHet. Before its implementation, developers had to create CSS styles for each component individually, often resulting in inconsistent styling for the same elements across the platform. The design process also faced challenges in maintaining visual consistency without a centralized reference library. By introducing this design system, both the design and development workflows were significantly streamlined, communication improved, consistency was enhanced, and most importantly, the overall visual quality of the product was elevated.

Retrospective

This is an ongoing project that will continue to evolve. The biggest takeaway has been the importance of detail. Breaking down every design element into smaller components and clearly defining use cases and specifications is essential for a successful outcome.
